A Disturbing Truth

So this week I’ve had some… disturbing realizations about myself.  I’ve truly enjoyed the relationships that I’ve made these last few years as a newbie to the SQL PASS community.  I know many of you will disassociate yourselves with me after today and that breaks my heart, however I can’t continue to live a lie.  It tears me up inside knowing that every time we talk I’m lying to your face.  It may be a lie of omission but it’s a lie, and the one thing I carry with me from my years in the Army is that all I have is my integrity.  So to those that will ostracize me farewell, I will miss you.

So here it is, please judge with kindness.  It turns out that I’m an Ozar Fanboy.

Sure I’ve used the tools and scripts provided by Ozar Unlimited, but I’ve used everyone else’s tools too!  I didn’t realize I was a fanboy until I read this blog (My Epic Life Quest).  It wasn’t even then to be honest, but a few days later as I was telling my wife that I’ve started listening to this book called “Get Things Done” and created my own life quest

I’m a little bit ashamed of it, and I’m sorry to disappoint both of you (the two people that might be bored enough to click into this article)…  I ask that you remember me as I was, before this admission.  Remember what we had and understand that I’m still the same person, but now I don’t have this dark secret hanging over me…
